I’ve been drawn to the water for as long as I can remember. I grew up swimming and boating in northwest Iowa before eventually taking my love for the water and the ocean to Hawaii Island, where I spent years freediving and working with manta rays.  Ask me about Jana Ray! 

After spending so much time underwater using only my breath, I decided in 2025 that I wanted to stay down even longer — and that’s when I fell in love with scuba diving. Since then, I’ve earned my Advanced Open Water and Rescue Diver certifications, with Divemaster next on the horizon.

I’m passionate about sharing the magic of the ocean, especially manta rays and sharks, and I’m always looking forward to the next underwater adventure!
