I originally got certified OW and AOW with my wife prior to a trip to Jamaica for our 10 year
wedding anniversary in 2021 and instantly fell in love with it. Due to starting a new job Forensic
Biologist I took a 2 year break from diving but ultimately knew from the start I wanted to become
an Instructor. After completing my training for work in 2023 I found that Ohana Dive Co. was
near by and decided to get back into diving. I went in one day to talk to the owner about a gear
package and my interest in becoming an Instructor. The next day I went back bought everything
I needed and started my journey with Ohana and haven’t looked back since. I have had the
opportunity to dive an abandon nuclear missile silo in Texas, snorkel with the manatees in
Florida, and dive off a live aboard sail boat in the Bahamas all with my Ohana family. I became a
Open Water Scuba Instructor in July of 2024 and have a passion for teaching and am looking
forward to continuing my diving education and career with Ohana.
