- PROOF OF CERTIFICATION
- Participants must provide proof of an Autonomous Open Water certification (or higher) from a national or internationally recognized dive agency.
- CHECK IN AND SAFETY BRIEFING
- Check in at least 30 minutes before your program at the Animal Interaction Desk on the 2nd floor of the atrium. There, you will be greeted by staff and taken to our classroom where you will be given an orientation to the habitat, the animals, your dive plan, and the safety guidelines for your experience.
- DRESS OUT AND GEAR UP
- Head to the locker rooms to dress into your Georgia Aquarium wetsuit before heading to the deck to meet your in-water divemasters. After a site briefing, staff will assist you into your dive gear. Time to hit the water to begin your 30-minute guided tour! You will be escorted by three staff members, all of which are dive masters or instructors. They will guide you through the habitat, ensuring your safety as well as the safety of the animals, and record your journey with the latest and greatest camera equipment.
- CLEAN UP AND DEBRIEF
- Staff will assist you out of your gear before head back to the locker rooms to shower and clean up. Staff will escort you back to the classroom where you will be able to watch the video of your experience!
- The whole program lasts approximately 2.5 -3 hours, so plan accordingly!

Join us on any of our amazing aquarium trips! January 18, July 13, or December 6, 2025. All dives are scheduled for 3pm EST at the aquarium. This provides you plenty of time to enjoy the aquarium with your friends/family prior to your dive.
